Their Royal Highnesses Prince Richard Duke of Gloucester accompanied by his wife Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester visited the Cancer Research UK on January 24th.

This week, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester visited The Francis Crick Institute – a biomedical discovery institute that is dedicated to understanding health & disease.

They visited The Francis Crick Institute which is a biomedical discovery institute that is dedicated to understanding health & disease.

The Crick was formed in 2015 & move into a brand new state-of-the-art building in 2016 which was opened by The Queen, who is Patron of Cancer Research UK. While The Duke is the joint President.

During their visit, they toured the Cell Cycle and Quantitative Cell Biology and met with staff & students who are undertaking research to understand more about cancerous cells and how to treat them
